The eye of judgement is one of the best game ever. Don't listen to those other guys. So buy it. The eye is the best game i've ever seen. The best graphics, the coolest cards, there's a bit of setting up to do, but it is all worth it.
The graphics are very impressive and the animations are smooth. When the game starts to get a bit crowded (with lots of cards on the mat) there is often a problem with one card not being read properly - you fix that and in doing so, you ruin another card etc.
Play with a friend the first few times and learn from each others mistakes - before challanging a computer or going online. Shadows are the main cause of this (so buy/get a desktop lamp or something). The game allows you focus on the great stratgry element - but the tutrials are more cofusing than they are helpful.
Never really got into these battle card games, but this is different. The 'action cards' need to be held up to the eye which is a knack as you must get it the right distance from the eye and whithout obsuring the face of the card.I personally dont mind the metal soundtrack it seems to suit the game (but when defeat is near - I hate it).
The cards themselves are good quality and with currently over 110 crds to collect (with more on there way) the game always give you soemthing new.All in all, a great game - a few reconigition problems can easily disrupt your game and put you right off it. No big caluations, no need for a calulator and no need to strain your memory memorising your monsters HP.Whilst one review didnt like the cotton mat, it is quite good quality and better than using another mterial such as paper (as some of these card games do).
You can turn the animations of if you so wish. You dont even need a controller for this game (expect for the menus) and the main game can be played with just cards - which is really cool and convient.
Me and my friend have played this and it's so awesome (my friend has an xbox 360) that he's trying to buy the cards no electronic. this game is probably one of the coolest games i've ever seen. if you do that, coolest card game ever.oh and this game is suitable for about 7 and up not because of battles but because it's a strategy game. the only downside is that you have to make sure that it's light in the room or else it won't work and you have to make sure it's on a hard surface. I am a big card game player i have fallen in love with Yugioh a japanese game. This, like all card games has plenty of strategy and what makes it special is that you get to see the cards or the creatures come to life, see spell cards come out, and watch as you get blown away as i did.
It really forces you to think of what moves to play to defeat your opponent. This game is very strategic, similar to chess but with an added dimension, and many more possibilities. It's cool seeing your cards come to life as you play a creature to see it destroy your opponent's.
Little did I know about the large amounts of fun and excitement this game would bring me.As a teenager I always was intrigued by MAGIC: The Gathering, and thought all the different cards, creatures and spells, were so cool. It comes with a starter deck and free booster pack, which is all you need to get started and begin challenging the computer. I bought this product at a time when it cost about the same price as the standalone Playstation Eye, figuring I might as well get an extra game with it for free.
You not only play your cards, but the computer keeps track of everything, including how many cards you should have in your hand, in the graveyard, in your deck, and on the field. Plus, the PS3 Eye can be used in many other games, and is one of the best webcams available, not only for the PS3, but also for the PC, as fanmade drivers allow you to use this camera for video conferencing for a computer.A fun game that provides countless of hours of replay value, with the ability to acquire booster packs to expand your deck, add-on content in the form of 2 different updates (with new enemy decks and booster pack updates), an excellent camera, and trophies; you can't go wrong with the Eye of Judgment. A sibling was into the Yu Gi Oh card game, which is similar to the Eye of Judgment, as well as MAGIC.
This game allows you to play the card game against the computer, against a friend locally, or against an opponent over the internet.
The package is a pretty good deal, since the eye costs 40, and the starter deck costs 15, and the pack cost 4. The price after the intial costs can add up really fast. I think this is a great game. Plus you can go online to play other people who have this game for added competition. I had a lot of fun playing against the computer. The only downside, and it's a pretty big one, is the cost of upgrading the starter deck and the 1 pack you get with the game. Before you know it, you could spend hundred's of dollars before you realize it.
The gameplay and graphics give this a good rating. Overall, I think it's a 3.75 out of 5.
It has decent graphics and a game doesn't take too long to play. If you can find it for 40, then you basically get the game and cards for free.
The gameplay was fun and the computer is pretty challenging from what I can tell. That's 59 already and the bundle cost 69.99.
This really is the only reason I didn't give it a 5. It took a little while to get the game up and running correctly the first time, but it wasn't a huge hassle.
I wouldn't say it's ridiculously over-priced, but buying multiple packs and starter decks can add up very quickly.
